- Reef-safe sunscreen (mandatory in some sites)
- Reusable water bottle
- Polarized sunglasses
For excursions
- Sturdy walking shoes (closed-toe)
- Water shoes for wet landings
- Daypack (waterproof if possible)
- Binoculars (5–7x32 is plenty)
